Community Garden Project Competition
Terms & Conditions

Competition Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 01/02/2024

  1. Eligibility: The Garden Project Assistance Competition (the "Competition") is open to individuals who are residents within a 5-mile radius of Tufnell Park, London. Eligible participants must be 16 years of age or older at the time of entry. 
     

  2. Entry: To enter the Competition, participants must submit their entry via the designated entry form provided on the company webstie. Entrants must also like and share the post related to the Competition on either platform. Only one entry per person is allowed. Any duplicate entries will be disqualified. Entrants must be following Grantham Gardening on either Facebook or Instagram. Entry closes on Thursday 29th February 2024 at 23:59 GMT. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
     

  3. Project Eligibility: The proposed garden project must be located within the local community and accessible to the public. Projects on private land or requiring permission from private property owners will not be eligible. Examples of eligible projects include but are not limited to: tidying flower beds in local parks, clearing overgrown vegetation around public areas, or enhancing community gardens.
    Grantham Gardening LTD will work to the best of their ability to work with local councils to complete proposed projects. Grantham Gardening LTD cannot guarantee the completion of projects if permission is not granted from local authorities. 
     

  4. Selection of Winner: The winner will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the garden maintenance business. The selection will be based on the feasibility and impact of the proposed project on the local community. The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Competition.
     

  5. Notification of Winner: The winner will be notified via email and/or direct message on Facebook or Instagram within 7 days of the closing date of the Competition. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, Grantham Gardening LTD reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
     

  6. Prize: The prize consists of assistance with the winning project by the garden maintenance business. The specific scope of assistance will be determined by the garden maintenance business in consultation with the winner and subject to the availability of resources. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
     

  7. Publicity: By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their name and entry for promotional purposes related to the Competition and the garden maintenance business, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
     

  8. Data Protection: Personal information provided by participants for the purpose of entering the Competition will be used in accordance with the garden maintenance business's Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
     

  9. Governing Law: The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
     

  10. Promoter: The promoter of the Competition is Grantham Gardening LTD, located at 56 Goddard Place, London, N19 5GT. This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
